guest blogger: celeste.

I want to welcome my friend Celeste to the blog! I met her waaaay back in high school through a mutual love for a band that played at a summer camp we both attended.
I love reading her blog and wished we still lived in the same state so that she could cook all these amazing meals for me, or take me to all these amazing places.
Thanks Celeste for taking the time to guest post!

Hello friends! As a food/travel blogger (primarily, anyway), I wasn't sure what to write for Chelsey while we wait for Baby M to get here-- my experience with kids is limited to my nieces and nephews. And as much as I wish I knew a lot about babies, I know almost nothing. I thought of what inspired me as a blogger and began to realize that I had a lot of optimism for the things that would come to inspire Baby M once he got here. The one thing that stuck out to me the most was books.

Searching pinterest, I discovered tons of ways that children's literature has come to life through the creativity of others. Here are some of my favorite finds inspired by some of my favorite childhood books:

the giving tree

where the wild things are

olivia

if you give a mouse a cookie

the very hungry caterpillar

madeline

curious george

the rainbow fish

dr. seuss

Thanks for having me, Chelsey! Congratulations to you and Ryan on your sweet baby boy-- I hope your family is filled with love, inspiration, and books!
